Amar

Amar Shah is responsible for quality assurance at board level, alongside quality more broadly, performance, business intelligence, strategy and planning.

He enjoys playing netball with his two girls, exploring the world and supporting local charities

Duncan

Duncan Gilbert is here to help set the direction of the team and get the best out of a great bunch of people.

In his spare time he likes cycling and gardening, but never at the same time.

Ellie

Ellie deputises and has oversight of operational leadership in the team.

In her own time, she enjoys going to the gym to compensate for her other hobby – eating!

Selina

Selina supports a number of directorates and leads on projects in the team. 

Outside of work Selina enjoys entertaining her inner child and she completed a post grad diploma in Theatre & Acting for the fun of it. 

Linnea

Linnea first started working for ELFT in 2015 on one of the inpatient mental health wards in City & Hackney. She quickly got involved in quality work on the ward and joined the QA team in April 2019 as a Quality Assurance Facilitator. She has a degree in psychology from UCL and is a QI coach.

In addition to spending time with her two children, in her spare time Linnea has developed a bit of a cake making hobby and is always looking for an excuse to make an elaborate cake. She is also learning photography and particularly enjoys taking photos of her kids.

Ella

Ella supports a number of directorates and leads on projects in the team. In her spare time, Ella loves going for long walks and being outdoors.

Amma

Amma is responsible for helping to deliver the trust’s quality assurance work streams, contributing to improving outcomes in clinical quality and patient experience across the trust. She is a keen balloonist and loves to create balloon decor in her spare time.

Brigita

Brigita supports the QA team, contributing to improving the quality of services and patient experience. She enjoys dancing, yoga and playing netball.  

Miles

Matt

Matt came to ELFT in Sep 2019, initially working with PP Newham at various WTGs and co-producing improvement projects for mental health Service Users. In June 2020 he created the ELFT Creative Magazine, which he continues to edit. In December 2020 he joined the ELFT Befriending Team as an Administrator, and he will continue to work with the team part time.

In his spare time Matt loves gaming and is a massive horror film aficionado. He’s also a foodie, who loves to sample and attempt to cook cuisines from all over the world. Matt’s current project is learning to cook West African dishes, and we can’t wait to try them.
